DERSHOWITZ, Alan

ALAN MORTON DERSHOWITZ (n. 1938) este un celebru avocat și profesor universitar american. A studiat la Brooklyn College și Yale Law School, iar la 28 de ani a devenit profesor universitar la Harvard Law School. A fost avocatul unor celebrități diverse (O.J. Simpson, Jeffrey Epstein, Claus von Bulow, Harvey Weinstein, Julian Assange). Cariera sa prodigioasă a fost onorată cu numeroase premii și titluri academice, între altele cu Premiul „William O. Douglas – First Amendment” decernat de Anti-Defaimation League în 1983. A scris peste 1 000 de articole publicate în The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Harvard Law Review etc. Este autorul a 35 de lucrări de o factură diversă, dintre care amintim: Chutzpah (1991), Reasonable Doubts: The Criminal Justice System and the O.J.
